About Andrew

Andrew Clark is a father of 3 and the owner and principal physiotherapist at Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives.

He graduated with a Masters degree from the University of Sydney in 2010 and has since had 10 years experience working in musculoskeletal private practice. He has undergone extensive professional development and has experience treating a wide variety of patients and musculoskeletal conditions. Andrew started the St Ives clinic in 2016 and enjoys the roles and challenges that come with owning a small business and training and leading a healthcare team.

​In his spare time, Andrew keeps fit with running and resistance training, gets to the odd Sydney Swans game and most of all enjoys spending lazy Sundays with his wife Bridget and beautiful kids Sophie, Harry and Angus.

About Stephen

Stephen Andreazza joined the Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives team in February 2017.

Stephen completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2012, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Sports Science. In the pursuit of advancing his clinical knowledge and skills to better treat his patients, he undertook a Masters of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, which he completed in 2016. Stephen was awarded a certificate of Academic Excellence upon graduation.

Stephen has over 6 years’ experience in the private practice setting as well as a sporting background in Athletics, as a national level 100m and 200m sprinter. This has seen him develop a keen interest in treating a wide variety of both sporting and musculoskeletal conditions.

In his spare time, Stephen keeps fit with strength training in the gym and working on his building his garden at home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Georgia as well as his cute little cat!

APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) Titled Sports & Musculoskeletal physiotherapists are highly qualified physiotherapists with advanced knowledge and skills in the areas of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy practice.

They undergo a thorough selection process to ensure they achieve and maintain exceptional standards of clinical practice, and have a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, assessment and treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal and sporting conditions.

This qualification is considered a mark of distinction amongst the physiotherapy profession.

About Kurt

Kurt joined the Clinical Physiotherapy, St Ives clinic in 2022.

 

Kurt joined Clinical Physiotherapy St Ives in 2022. He completed his Bachelor of Human Sciences in 2016, then graduated from the Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University in June 2020 on an academic achievement scholarship. Throughout his career he has gained experience working in acute and rehabilitation hospitals before moving into private practice. Since working in private practice he has undergone extensive training in Clinical Pilates and treated a wide variety of Musculoskeletal conditions and injuries with great success. Kurt has had his fair share of injuries playing Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Rock Climbing, and a vast amount of experience training in the gym. Having been a patient on many occasions he deeply understands your perspective as a patient and the rehabilitation process to return to sport. In his spare time, Kurt enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, eating good food and exploring the great outdoors.

About Mikaela

Mikaela graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Australian Catholic University in October 2018. Mikaela completed her last 5-Week practical placement at Clinical Physiotherapy with a High Distinction, under the guidance of our Principal Physiotherapist, Andrew.

Mikaela has competed internationally in the Maccabiah Games as a swimmer and understands the demands of a competitive athlete and how injuries can affect athletic progression and performance.

In her spare time, Mikaela enjoys swimming, keeping active and exploring yummy dessert bars!

About Richard

Richard completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in 2016. Following a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology Degree at UNSW in 2012.  He completed a highly sought after clinical internship with Stanford University’s Athletic and Sport Medicine departments in the U.S., where he worked to assess, treat and improve athletic performance.

Richard has experience in the private practice setting, gaining experience with variety of sports and musculoskeletal conditions.  He enjoys triathlons and understands the challenges on the body and the importance of load management, sports conditioning, rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Richard has undergone training to become a registered GLA:D (Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis) practitioner. You can read more about the GLA:D Program here.

In his spare time, Richard enjoys keeping fit with strength training and triathlons, and has an unhealthy obsession with the Sydney Swans.

About Hayden

Hayden graduated in October 2018 and has undergone 5 months of further training with our Principal Physiotherapist, Andrew. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University and was presented with a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence at graduation. This followed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Sydney Uni in 2014 and a Cert IV in Massage Therapy in 2015.

With a long history as a rugby and cricket player, Hayden has had his fair share of sporting injuries, including a shoulder reconstruction. Having so often been the patient, he understands both the intense desire to return to sport and the rehabilitation process well.

In his spare time, Hayden enjoys training at the gym, running, cricket and rugby along with spending time with his two Rhodesian Ridgebacks Kobe and Sabu.
