St Ives Senior Exercise Classes
Our seniors exercise classes are based on recent research that strength training is the number 1 exercise intervention for treating a wide variety of conditions including arthritis, balance problems, cardiovascular disease, Parkinsons disease and dementia.
The circuit style strength classes last for 35-40mins. There are 6 different exercise stations with 1 minute spent at each station. The set of 6 exercises change every 4 weeks.
There is a maximum of 6 participants per class.
Our senior Physiotherapist, Jessica Findlay, runs the classes on Mondays 8.40 & 10.20am and Wednesdays & Fridays at 10:20 & 11am.
$20 per class, claimable on your private health fund card.
